Hey @Ozzarian,

We've made some exciting updates to the house system! 🌟 Each rank now has its own unique house size limits. Check out the details below to see how your rank affects your house building:

• House Size by Rank: Each rank now unlocks different sizes for your houses.

• Clearer Error Messages: We’ve improved the error messages to clearly show the criteria for defining a valid house. No more confusion!

• /house Command Update: When you type /house, it now displays the limits for your house regions and shows how many houses you're allowed to build based on your rank.

Additional Updates:

• Red Potion: Now makes you rage! 🔥

• Amogus Command: Has a small chance to give you the Red Potion.

• House Limits Update: More details on house limits based on your rank.

• Ocean Changes: No longer break sand or hardened sand in the ocean.

• Daily Regen: Alter regeneration decreased from 20 > 5 per day.

• Novice Player Fix: Fixed bug where Novice players could not place torches but could break them. They can now both break and place torches regardless of speech status.

• Custom Messages: Added player-spawned Eclipse and Bloodmoon customized messages to Discord.

Rank Progression Update @Ozzarian

We’ve reduced the gem costs for ranks Heroic to Divine to make progression more accessible and enjoyable. The new system is designed so that reaching the highest rank, Divine, can be achieved within approximately three seasons of active participation.

Why the Change?

The previous gem costs felt too steep, making it difficult for many players to progress in a reasonable timeframe. By lowering the requirements, we aim to strike a balance between rewarding consistent participation and reducing unnecessary grind. This change ensures progression remains meaningful while feeling fair and achievable.

Disclaimer: Below in the screenshot is a projection for players who vote persistently for three entire seasons straight. It may take longer for other players depending on their activity level and engagement.

We're excited to introduce a brand new currency to our server: Gems! 💎

Why the Change to Gems for Hardmode Ranks?

Some players found it too time-consuming to farm large amounts of coins just for ranks. To address this, we’ve made the change where Hardmode Bar Ranks are now purchased with Gems instead of coins.

This makes ranking up more straightforward, with Divine now taking about 10 weeks to reach, instead of farming 50,000+ coins for higher ranks, which can take years for the average player unless excessive trading or cheats are used. Currently, only 9 players in the entire history of Ozzaria have obtained this rank, and none are currently active. This shows how draining it can be for most players, as the system was not designed for quick progress.

Here's everything you need to know:

• Gems can now be used to buy Hardmode Bar Ranks and Vanity Titles. 🌟

• Earn Gems by voting, logging in for 7 consecutive days, and as rewards for top voters!

• You can now check both your Gem and Coin balances with the /bal command. 🎉

• The Vanity Title List now shows only available titles (free, buyable, and owned). Titles locked behind higher levels are no longer visible. 🏅

• The Rankup Info command has been updated and looks much nicer! 👑

💎 Important Note:

Gems are currently a rare currency and cannot be traded with players. However, to help those who’ve spent time farming Eco Coins, you can trade 1000 Eco Coins for 100 Gems! This offer will end in a few weeks as Gems become more integrated into the economy. 🚀

Update Notes:

• Added Desert Crate to the Hard Mode shop list.

• Fixed bug where modifiers were incorrectly resetting for auto-login users (please inform us if this still occurs).

• Fireworks now launch on you when linking accounts and ranking up to enhance experience.

• You no longer get teleported to your house region or a random location if there is an active frost moon or pumpkin moon.

Server Crashes

• Fixed server crash when attempting to use /auc list for items listed by sellers whose accounts no longer exist.

• Resolved server crash issue when teleporting players to random locations after they leave.

• Fixed server crash that happened when a player died while not logged in.

📢 @Ozzarian Common Server Crash Update

Hey everyone,

We’ve noticed some random server crashes occurring over the past day. It seems like some of them are tied to the server awarding economy coins to players. Please know that we’re fully aware of the issue and are actively working on it, as we always do.

Additionally, with the new code changes, we highly recommend joining with a character that has no items equipped to avoid triggering the anti-cheat system.
